Nitor’s development projects currently employ about 200 software professionals who are leading experts in their field. We apply agile development methods, test automation, and continuous delivery.
As a Senior Frontend Developer at Nitor, you have a chance to take full responsibility for our customer’s frontend development. We are working together with some of Finland’s best known companies, so for sure, you will get to participate in meaningful and interesting projects.
Learning and working together as a team are one of the key principles in Nitor’s culture. We also have our own Frontend Forum, which gathers together all Nitoreans who are interested in frontend-related topics and want to share their knowledge and best practices on, for example, new frontend technologies.
✅ What makes you successful as a Senior Frontend Developer at Nitor?
We emphasize the importance of understanding the bigger picture on frontend development. We are looking for a colleague who wants to make user interfaces both user-friendly and functional. Competence in usability and visual presentation is a big advantage in this role. We expect Nitorean Senior Frontend Developers to understand how things interact: the solution architecture, REST, and microservice architecture – not only within an application, but also through its interfaces with other systems. Testability, capacity for further development, and maintainability are vital to us.
We are looking for pragmatic developers, who are interested in modern frontend technologies and speak the same language with our designers. You are passionate about intuitive, easy-to-use, and visually appealing applications. You have comprehensive skills in frontend development from bundling to accessibility, and familiarity with design systems is a definite advantage. Professional proficiency in Finnish is also considered an advantage in the application process.

Our recruitment process reflects our values and is a clear dialogue with four stages. You will have the possibility to meet at least four Nitoreans during the process. We offer you everything you need to know when deciding on your next workplace.
1. Get to know Nitor
We map what is most important to you in your career. Our People Partner will tell you about Nitor, our projects, and what your work at Nitor could look like.
2. A technical interview
You will meet two of our software developers, who will form an understanding of the strengths and extent of your expertise. You will also gain first-hand knowledge of our projects and Nitor as an employer.
3. Open questions
We double-check that you have all the answers to your possible questions. We specify your future role at Nitor and prepare the basis for your upcoming job offer.
