Digital Engineering Company Nitor’s current CEO, Olli Auvinen, has decided to step down from his position. Auvinen will continue his work at Nitor as Senior Advisor. The change has taken effect at Auvinen’s own request on October 31, 2025. The recruitment of a new CEO will begin immediately.

Nitor's Chief Financial Officer, Heini Kautonen, and Chief Commercial Officer, Ville Himberg, are jointly responsible for the management team and the company's operations and are serving as interim CEO for the time being.

“As a founding partner of Nitor, I have had the opportunity to be involved throughout its success story, of which the last six years have been in the role of CEO. After long consideration, I have decided that in the future, I want to direct my energy to other meaningful things in my life as well. I will continue to be part of Nitor and remain committed to the company's growth and development, both as a major owner and in the role of a Senior Advisor,” Olli Auvinen says.

“Olli Auvinen has led Nitor during his tenure as CEO with determination and great dedication. Under his leadership, Nitor has achieved significant milestones, and he has successfully guided the company through challenging market conditions. On behalf of the entire Board, I want to thank Olli for his contribution, leadership, and commitment,” says Sari Vuola-Vuorinen, Chair of the Board of Nitor.
