Course description

This hands-on and practical workshop-oriented course provides an environment where you create new ways of working more quickly and effortlessly, with the help of an experienced coach. The team will gain the knowledge needed to avoid pitfalls, resulting in reaching the state of a coherent team with more ease.

The team will learn to use agile methods like Scrum and Kanban. Team members will learn how to plan backlogs and iterations, and how to make iterations happen. During the course, team members will build the skills needed to become a high-performing team member of an Agile Release Train and learn how to collaborate effectively with other teams.

This training is organized for one organization at a time, for one value stream at a time. In practice this means that people involved in one value stream come together to this training, to get to know each other and to effectively establish new ways of working as individual teams.

In the training:

  • People working in the same value stream get to know each other and their ways of working.

  • Everybody in the newly formed team understands their role and what is expected of them.

  • The competencies within the team become visible to all.

  • The team will start to prioritize their work together, and create the backlog for upcoming work.

  • It is ensured that everybody understands things in the same way.
